One New Message - COMM Short Film

This is my most recent creation, where I served as the camera operator and lead editor. It is a short film that we were tasked with making for my Digital Media Production class at the University of Connecticut. It follows Sawyer who is anxiously awaiting a phone call from her doctor. Filmed with an iPhone 13 Pro using Filmic Pro app and edited in Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2023. We were all given the same screenplay and broken into groups to create a 1 to 2 minute short film based on it. The goal of the project was to teach us how to film short video content using either a DSLR camera or a really good smartphone camera and then edit in a non-linear editing program.
