1st Samuel 18-5 Verse of the day for 09-19-2023.

The 3rd day of the week, the 19th day of the 9th month of 2023.

1st Samuel 18:5  And David went out and was successful wherever Saul sent him, so that Saul set him over the men of war. And this was good in the sight of all the people and also in the sight of Saul's servants.

For one simple thought on this passage I can offer this -
I dont like being nice to mean people. Not my specialty at all. For my natural inclination is to absolutely destroy or forever get away from anyone, even kings, who chunk spears at me.
Yet here it is again. Saul attempting murder, and David just being like - meh, no biggie, he is just chunking spears at me, I can dodge em -.
So I reckon I need to keep working on being nice to mean people in stead of telling them I clearly see there machinations and it is retardation that will end badly without repentance.
