She will be one of the first people you encounter if you attend Shakespeare in Delaware Park. Kari Drozd is the house manager for the popular outdoor theatre festival as well as a very snappy dresser. Every night she gets dolled up from head to toe. She says "I think people don't expect it. They are surprised. It makes them smile." It's all part of what she calls "The Sundress Challenge". She started it four years ago and her personal goal is to wear a different dress every night, but the dresses have to be vintage or hand made by her. Kari is also a costume designer and says she can whip up a dress in a matter of hours. Kari figures she has worn some where around one hundred-sixty different dresses in the past four seasons of Shakespeare in Delaware Park without every repeating an outfit. Not only do the patrons enjoy her fashion sense, but she has enlisted some of her co-workers into the challenge as well. You can follow Kari Drozd's "Sundress Challenge" on Facebook and Instagram. #Sundressesforshakespeare
