वस्तुतः, "दर्शन" शब्द का अर्थ है, " ज्ञान का प्रेम ।" व्यापक अर्थ में, दर्शन एक ऐसी गतिविधि है जिसे लोग तब करते हैं जब वे अपने बारे में, जिस दुनिया में वे रहते हैं, और दुनिया और एक-दूसरे के साथ अपने संबंधों के बारे में बुनियादी सच्चाइयों को समझना चाहते हैं।
