YouTube Demonetizes Russell Brand, Japanese Wives Tolerate 304s, China CBDC Giveaway - Grift Report

YouTube has suspended monetization on Russell Brand's channel due to violations of its "creator responsibility policy." This decision comes in the wake of sexual assault allegations against Brand, who has transitioned into a wellness and conspiracy influencer.

The BBC also removed "some programs" featuring Brand from its streaming services, citing that they "fell below public expectations."

These actions follow allegations of rape, sexual assault, and emotional abuse made by four women in a joint investigation by The Times of London, The Sunday Times, and Channel 4 Dispatches. Brand has denied these allegations, stating that all his relationships were consensual.

The London Metropolitan Police is investigating one of the alleged sexual assault incidents dating back to 2003. Brand's management has postponed his U.K. comedy shows in response to the allegations, and his agency has dropped him as a client.

Other platforms hosting Brand's content, like Spotify and Luminary, have not yet commented on the situation.
