Public schools in the state are now required to stock naloxone and add opioids to drug education

When your kids head back to the classroom in September, naloxone will also be stocked in their schools. Statewide, every elementary, middle and high school will be armed with the opioid overdose reversal drug, and drug education lessons will have a focus on opioids. The move is part of a law that went into effect this summer.
