In this clip Tim Ross of the basement podcast discusses: lesbian, bi-sexual, gay, transgender relationships and gay marriage being absent in the bible. Tim sees homosexuality as a sin. Tim Ross says "a lot of times when you are looking for something in the bible. Don't just look where something might be. Look for the absence of it as well." Genesis to Revelation covers 4,000 years of human history. Yet you don't see even one instant of God blessing a gay marriage in the bible. Or one instance of a gay relationship being affirmed. Disclaimer: I have to state this for legal purposes. We as Christians are called to love all people. Even our enemies. We are to love members of the LBGTQ community and pray for them. But i believe marriage is between one man and one women and there are only two genders. In todays time many would call that hate speech. I do not hate anyone. I even pray for my enemies. We have reached a dangerous place in society that if i disagree with someone that i am guilty of hating them. I am just standing up for my religious convictions that are based on the bible. I won't try to force my religious beliefs on anyone. And please do not try to force your beliefs on me. Mature people should be able to respectfully disagree without each other without raw emotion. I don't claim to have this subject all understood. But these aren't my opinions. I am just stating what is clearly stated in scripture. So if you have an issue please take it up with God the creator. You can take it or leave it.
