Joseph’s brothers wanted to kill him, and Reuben wanted to bring him back to his father, but when they saw the Ishmaelites Judah decided to try and sell him instead of killing him! Today let’s read Genesis 37:26-27 and grab some change and a stuffed animal. Pretend that you are one of Joseph’s brothers and your Tiny Arrow is one of the Ishmaelites. Then ask your Tiny Arrow if they want to buy the stuffed animal, and have your Tiny Arrow give you the change! Explain that they bought the animal and now it belongs to them!

Judah said to his brothers, “What will we gain if we kill our brother and cover up his blood?” Come, let’s sell him to the Ishmaelites and not lay our hands on him; after all, he is our brother, our own flesh and blood.” His brothers agreed.
