During my normal walk and talk weekly VLOG and while out photographing wildlife birds, ducks and animals in the Algonac State Park in Algonac Michigan there was a fire that occurred in the Algonac State Park and Public State Land. I happened to stumble upon it while filming with my new Sony A7RV and Sony ZV-E1. So I tracked down the Firefighter in charged and asked Why!

The fire was a controlled burn, which is a technique that's used to manage and maintain natural areas. So I shifted my thought process for my VLOG recording and decided to discuss how deliberately setting a fire in a specific area, under specific conditions, to achieve specific objectives can literally benefit nature.
