Starfield - Making a Grenade Build? Don't Bother

Grenades are great early game on very easy difficulty, but leveling them up just doesn't scale to higher level enemies at all. Grenades have some of the worst damage scaling out of all the different builds in Starfield and specializing in them should be avoided. These weapons are the lowest DPS in the entire game.

Grenades, even if you crit with a max level build using the best possible grenades are awful. They do terrible damage and are wonky to use in most situations. If you're wanting to run a grenade build in Starfield you're not going to have fun. This video shows grenade damage scaling and why it's awful.
