Hunter Biden Sues IRS for Alleged Breach of His Privacy

Hunter Biden, the son of President Biden, initiated legal action against the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) on Monday, alleging that his privacy rights had been infringed upon when IRS agents publicly expressed concerns to Congress and the media regarding the handling of the investigation into his tax and business affairs.

In a comprehensive 27-page lawsuit, Hunter Biden’s legal representatives focused on two specific IRS agents, namely Gary Shapley and Joseph Ziegler, who had asserted that officials from the Justice Department obstructed and delayed the inquiry into the president’s son.

Hunter Biden’s legal team contended that, in raising concerns about the management of the criminal investigation, these two agents divulged information that federal law stipulates should remain confidential, the Wall Street Journal reported.
