There's two adorable feral cats who hang out at the 7-11 by my house. I always try to remember to keep some food and water on me in case I run into strays. We have a humungous stray/feral cat overpopulation issue here in Central Florida. This is mostly due to our warm climate, the abundance of unspoiled rural land and lack of community resources. As a result our overpopulation problems are much worse than other counties of comparable size.

I finally got video of one of the 7-11 cats. Unfortunately the other one wasn't around that night but they're usually an inseparable pair. I call them Romulus and Remus. For anyone asking, he is already fixed as some awesome person already grabbed these cats and conducted a TNR. You can see his ear has been docked to signify as much.

Please spay and neuter your pets. And if you find a stray who isn't fixed, reach out to a local animal rescue and try to ensure that they are treated. Cat overpopulation is a horrible issue that hurts animals, humans and most importantly, our envrionment. Cats can make the most incredible companions and friends. But left alone in the envrionment, they are an invasive species. Their ability to breed rapidly, and ferocity combine to create a genuine problem for the areas around them. By helping to control feral populations, you can make a significant impact on the envrionment and in the end, climate change.
