The Rise of Dwight D. Eisenhower
Dwight D. Eisenhower, a lieutenant colonel, was an average army officer.
Yet, he rose to become the Supreme Commander of all Allied forces in Europe.
His rise was meteoric.
In March 1941, he became a full colonel.
By December, he was involved in war planning at the highest level.
By 1942, he was Assistant Chief of Staff of the War Plans Division.
Soon, he was in command of the 'European Theater of Operations.'
On Christmas Eve 1943, President Roosevelt appointed Eisenhower as Supreme Commander in Europe.
This was despite him having no battle experience or experience in handling large numbers of men in the field.
Eisenhower's rise was not due to his military prowess, but his loyalty to his hidden masters.
