Lies of P - Walkthrough [Part 02] Parade Master / Welcome to Hotel Krat

In full discloure, I did a little farming between the last video and the start of this video. I wante dto have enough to increase my health and stamina prior to the boss fight from the demo.

The boss fight is very challenging for a first boss. I played through the demo and tried different approaches. For example, i tried dodging and waiting for him to belly flop and inflicting damage while he was on his belly. Not a huge fan of that method. What works for me was farming some Ergo and buying the "Electric Blitz Abrasive" which temporarilty applies electric damage to your sword and man does it work. Second thing to keep in mind, save your weapn art for the boss fight (the three blue bars under your health and stamina bar) and make sure all three are charged. If that is not the case then, from the stargazer, go backwards, will a few people then return to the stargazer. RInse and repeast until you have all three full.
The fight is pretty striaght forward - the first phase I tried to get two swings then a perfect block. If timing allowed it I would try to get in a charged attack to trigger the second phase. Now, when between phases (he stops to get the cage off his back), this is the perfect time to get in free damage. Position yourself behind him so that he case dismount doesn't hit you and hit him with two chaged attaks and when he gets to his feet, hit him with your weapon art. With a little luck, that will stagger him and you can hit him with yoru repost and that should put the fight a few swings from over.

Note: Don't do what I did and level up right after the fight. Had I waited, I wouldn't have had to do a farm run at the end of the video in order to upgrade my sword. Had I waited, the video would have been five minutes shorter : )
