Tell me something my friends:

Which of the attributes from Colossians do you most need to put on today?

Are you in need of learning how to show compassion and kindness to somebody that you probably don't want to? Do you need to have a humility transplant so to speak, and learn how to be gentle and patient with others? I'd like to share some things that God showed me from this morning's passage of scripture, as well as this verse above, through this vlog I’d like to share with all of you tonight, and I pray that what I share with you will challenge you to want to clothe yourself and live as a redeemed son/daughter of the king. So, my friends, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I want to leave you with this last question from this morning's devotional, and I pray that it will encourage and motivate you to want to be outfitted in Christ Jesus and not the world.

How else has God “outfitted” you for service to Him?

My prayer for all of you tonight, is that you choose to outfit yourself in Christ Jesus and not the world. Submit yourself to Christ’s will and not yours, by allowing him to outfit you with that kindness, compassion, humility, gentleness, and patience that you so badly need. Remember that because you know Christ is savior, you are a “chosen generation, a royal priesthood” (II Peter 2:9) for Christ, so you want to live like the royal priesthood you truly are. We don't need to wear any particular type of clothing to identify ourselves as this, but we want to make sure that with God's help and guidance, that we continually clothe ourselves according to what Colossians 3:12 states, as well as clothing ourselves in the full armor of God (Ephesians 10-18), so that we're ready and prepared for the fight.
