Info from Licensor: "We have a wasp problem in our garden, wasps are a serious threat in New Zealand as they destroy our native insects. The wasp nest is underground. I did install the grid above the nest during the night. The wasp zapper runs on 5600 Volts DC supplied via a microwave oven transformer and voltage doubler. An overhead line supported on small power poles supplies the circuit."

Hot damn! That's some serious voltage you're using, my friend! lol. I'm not sure just how familiar you are with automotive chemicals but I've used a spray carburetor cleaner on these dang things, and hornets too. If you have "Auto Zone" stores over there it's quite inexpensive. This stuff dissolves those damn things in flight! lol. I don't work for the company nor do I get paid for divulging this info but it does work. If you decide to use it I wish you luck with it. Thank's for sharing this video.
