SAD News: DC Legends Going Off Line on Halloween 2023 | It’s Been a Good 6 Years Thanks DC Legends

I am a big fan of DC. I collect all the animated films as well as basically anything DC. As such, I have been playing DC Legends since roughly the time the game released.

DC Legends is much like SWGOH in the sense that it is a hero collector. Other than being different franchises, another huge difference is that DC Legends is very difficult to get powerful in. Leveling up takes FOREVER as does starring up. Then there is a status known as rebirth, which in terms of SWGOH would most closely represent relics, however, the amount shards you need for this is just astronomical, especially the higher the rebirth level becomes.

In the end, this game is losing the app store immediately and in app purchases will end September 22-ish. As for the remainder of the game, it will go fully off line by October 31.

Terrible news for sure, but at the same time, I can’t say this is too unexpected. I never really though there was too big of a community with this game, so considering it has been able to last as long as it has is pretty good!

Farewell DC Legends. Maybe I’ll find a different DC game to replace you.
