I was convinced that if I worked harder and longer, I'd succeed. I was sure that if I smothered my feelings and just wanted success more, it'd happen for me.

I finally hit a wall and realized that all my effort and all my emotionless work was getting me nowhere. In fact, perhaps I didn't even want what I was pursuing!

One day, I just felt the need to write it out. I knew I needed to work through what was happening inside me mentally and emotionally, and writing it out was the only way I knew how.

I poured everything out on paper...and major change happened. I felt compelled to live more simply, and to enjoy the small, seemingly insignificant things in life.

Suddenly, my life had more purpose and passion behind it, and I knew what I wanted to do and pursue!

And it's all so much more simple than before.
