Welcome to Day 261, September 18th, 2023. We read of resistance and opposition to the rebuilding of the Temple and the City of Jerusalem. The restoration of the Temple is resumed by the Jews. Darius king of Persia makes a decree regarding the continuing construction to the Temple. The Temple construction is completed and a Passover feast is held. We read a Psalm of the psalmist longing for Zion.
