Gran Turismo Movie Review - A Great Commercial

Grant Turismo 2023 movie review. Based on the popular Playstation driving simulator; Gran Turismo tells the true story of Jann Mardenborough and other gamers getting the opportunity to take their driving skills in the video game and translate them to the real thing. Nissan and Sony put on a contest to see which player can successfully race and win in Nascar. I thought Gran Turismo was going to be another mediocre Sony film with tons of product placement and zero soul behind it. I was wrong. Yes, it's a glorified commercial but it has heart, energy, a great pace, likable leads and fantastic cinematography. Gran Turismo is so much better than it has any right to be!
