River Wild Movie Review. River Wild is the 2023 reboot of The River Wild, which starred great actors like Meryl Streep and Kevin Bacon. This new version is a shadow of the original, cashing in on name-only. The plot is lame. The score is non-existent. The characters are bland. The production ranges from competent to unwatchable. A good chunk takes place at night and is very hard to see. This movie is a complete waste of time.
