Why did the enemies of Jesus have to kill him? The answer is because Jesus was very clear by what He meant when he told them, “I and the Father are one”. The people of His day knew exactly what he meant and what he was claiming by making that statement. Just as people have done in the days of the early church, people deny Jesus’s sovereignty. If we understand who He is, we can then come to understand God the Father and what it is that He’s done for us. Join us as Pastor Ray continues our series in John 5:18-23.
