A look at the buffoonery of two women in politics reveals a double standard in how the media treats them when negative news occurs about them. On the right, we have Rep. Lauren Boebert, who the media claims is in danger of losing her job and harming the Republican brand when news of her buffoonish behavior at a theater in Denver emerged. On the left, there's Susanna Gibson, who reported had sex with her husband on a live-streaming site for tips. Yet, the media claims that her buffoonish act may not even harm her election prospects! Gene Berardelli compares the two stories to reveal the unequal treatment Republican women face in the media.
