The BBC has expressed its commitment to addressing the serious allegations made against comedian Russell Brand. Following public accusations of rape and sexual assault, the BBC issued a statement stating that they are "urgently looking into the issues raised." Russell Brand had worked on BBC radio programs from 2006 to 2008, and the corporation is determined to investigate the allegations thoroughly.

In addition to the BBC's response, the charity Trevi Women, previously supported by Brand's Stay Free Foundation, announced the termination of their association with the presenter in light of these allegations.

The accusations against Russell Brand, made by four women between 2006 and 2013 during the height of his fame, were unveiled through a joint investigation by The Sunday Times and Channel 4 Dispatches. It's important to note that Russell Brand vehemently denies all these allegations.
