Oct. 11, 1963 - Nation of Islam national spokesman Malcolm X was interviewed today at the University of California at Berkeley by sociology graduate student Herman Blake and Professor John Leggett. Mr. X argued against racial integration and discussed the right of black people to use violence to defend themselves against violent attacks by whites. He also discussed the nature of Islam.
