Here's where to catch Bruce Willis filming 'Reprisal' this week

The City of Cincinnati knows there'll be gunfights, robbery and car chases in busy areas of town next week, and the government's not doing a thing to stop any of it. That's because these fraught scenes are part of filming for Bruce Willis' newest action movie, "Reprisal," which will begin shooting Aug. 7. City officials released a schedule for the first week of filming so residents of Over-the-Rhine, The Banks, Yeatman's Cove and the Central Business District will know not to call the real police to report staged crimes. According to the city, there will be "periods of gun fire noise" along Pete Rose Way in Yeatman's Cove from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday, closures along Rosa Park Street between 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday, and additional traffic restrictions and gunshots on the Roebling Bridge from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Wednesday. "Motorists should expect detours, slow traffic and load noise at times," according to a news release from city officials. "Cincinnati police officers will be on site at each location to help detour motorists." There is, however, live gunfire planned this week in the city's Avondale neighborhood: Police say it's needed to test a new tool that can pinpoint gunshots using soundwaves. The public will not be in danger, according to the police department. They ask anyone who hears gunfire in this area to continue calling 911.
