The Correct Bible Reading Method

In this brief excerpt from the course, Intro to the Bible and Theology, Dr. Barber discusses how there is only one correct method for reading the Bible, and it's actually the same method you use to read everything else, and the same method you use when listening to anyone else speak. Very simply, it's letting that author or speaker be the one who interprets what he/she is saying, instead of interpreting their words for them. It's considered rude to interpret someone else's words, and also foolish, as you don't know for sure their intended meaning; only the author/speaker knows exactly what they mean.
