Moral But NOT Saved

DISCUSSION QUESTIONS

Do you know someone who is an exceptionally good person, but who isn’t saved?
Can you share what that person is like?

Why do you think that person is not saved? (Or, what would need to happen for that person to be saved?)

It seems we have a tendency to think “That person needs Jesus” if their life is messed up, if they are on drugs, if they are living immorally; but if a person seems to have a good life we don’t immediately think “That person really needs Jesus”. (Winos know so many scriptures because people share the gospel with them so much lol!)
What perspective should we have toward “Good People”, who seem to be successful and doing well?

How does the promises like “God is not unjust to forget your work and the love you have shown toward Him” and “God is not mocked… if you have sown to the spirit, you will reap from the spirit” impact you?
In other words, what good are these promises in helping you live for God on a daily basis?

Do you believe it would benefit you to have a set time and schedule to do things? A time you go to church each week, a time you pray every day, etc? Why or why not?
Daily praying and journaling are powerful!

What do you believe your life would be like in one year, if you prayed and connected with God at your set time each day until then?
