Chronological Bible in a Year 2023 - September 17, Day 260 - Ezra 1-3

Welcome to Day 260, September 17th, 2023. We read the end of the Babylonian Captivity of the Israelites. They are granted materials and monetary valued metals from Cyrus King of Persia. The vessels of the Lord that were brought out of the first Temple of the Lord by Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon are given back for the new Temple. There is listed the captives who returned to Jerusalem. Worship is restored in Jerusalem and the foundation for the new Temple at Jerusalem is laid.
