Extractive industries report - Mineral industry still faces low financing, undisclosed contracts

Uganda has launched its second Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative that’s aimed at promoting transparent and accountable management of the country’s natural resources.
Minister of state for minerals, Peter Lokeris, has hailed this launched report as a landmark aimed at streamlining and furthering transparency in Uganda’s Mineral sector.
