During the summer the Northern Gannet ( once he had impressed the female and created a marriage ) will collect nest material from wherever he can find it, and a lot of the time the strong winds in the cliffs will blow it away! But like all wildlife, instinct takes over, and they don’t complain or give up.. they just keep collecting material and building that nest for the next generation..
