Joy and Your Mental Health
In the midst of our mental health struggle, sometimes the last thing we think about is having joy. We crave a connection with joy. But why do so many struggle with it? Christians TALK about our need to have joy, but do you have actual examples of believers who manifest joy in their day to day life.
I am highly qualified to talk about the struggle of joy, because experiencing it in my life has not come about easily. But there is much I have learned and experienced. I think there needs to be honest discussion as to why joy can be so challenging, especially when you working through mental health challenges that regularly work to rob you of joy.
Today I want to bring some honest perspectives on the subject of joy, in a way that I believe can encourage and empower your journey.
