Gran Caffe La Caffettiera, Roma
One of the great things about Rome is even the simple things can be breathtaking. For example this little cafe is just across the Piazza di Pietra from Il Tempio di Adriano (The Temple of Hadrian).

In my painting you can see the distinctive warm ocher color common to the buildings in Rome. Also the left there are three ladies chatting over espresso while on the right there is a man reading the morning paper.

Can you think of anything better than sipping a morning espresso while enjoying this view of an Ancient Roman monument?⠀
