Pokemon Trading Card Game - Part 7: Second Tournament

With our sixth medal (badge), the second tournament is being hosted, and it is pretty much more of the same. In terms of format, we are looking at winning three consecutive matches with the third being Ronald. The first two matches can come from any area, so having a few different types of decks can take you far.

The reward for this tournament is one of the more broken cards, and one that I am not sure was ever tournament legal. I want to say this was the Rainbow Island Mew, but I may be misremembering. The gist is that it is immune to damage from evolved Pokemon. Sadly, the NPCs don't always do a lot of evolution to take advantage of this, but when they do, you can be prepared.
