Skoki Loop Backpacking - Banff National Park

A thrilling 2-day backpacking escapade in late July with two adventurous friends to explore the captivating Skoki Loop in Banff National Forest. The first day was a whirlwind of excitement, fueled by caffeine and packed with awe-inspiring moments. Despite persistent clouds, the trail unveiled its wonders, from the mysterious 'ghosts' at the Halfway Hut to the breathtaking beauty of Ptarmigan Lake and Baker Lake.

On the next day, the remarkable journey continued as we ventured to Red Deer Lakes, explored Skoki Lodge, climbed the 'wall' and marveled at the pristine Skoki Lakes (Zigadenus and Myosotis Lakes). The adventure reached its peak at Packer's Pass, where the view left us breathless (well, maybe it was the climb).
