Street Fighter 6 — Audio Issues (Sound Cuts Out) | Xbox Series X

I originally recorded this footage for the purpose of making screenshots, but it's a perfect example of a problem I'm been having recently.

Awhile back I bought myself a new controller after the [RIGHT BUTTON] / [R1] on my original Series X controller broke (see post; the little tab that touches the sensor snapped off):

Recently I've noticed the sound would cut out seemingly at random (or at least when something particularly "intense" is happening), and even when the sound came back portions of it would be out-of-sync. After running numerous tests, I've determined that:

• It's not _SF6_ itself, because it's happened in other games, too; it just happens in _SF6_ far more often
• It's neither of my televisions, because the sound cuts out at the same time and for the same duration on both
• It's not the HDMI splitter, because I've had the console plugged into one television by itself and the sound still cuts out
• It's not the HDMI cable because I've tried other cables and still have this issue

This morning I attempted to play through "Story Mode" using my old controller (my attempted "fix" on the faulty button being _partially_ successful), and I had no issues with the sound whatsoever; however, I then plugged the new controller back in and played through "Story Mode" again… and, once more, the sound would continually cut out.

Now I had noticed that the new controller was registering a non-existent headset (see post; I haven't used a headset since my 360 days), so I can only imagine there must be some kind of faulty wiring that's sending mixed signals to the system telling it to mute the speaker (and while the system _does_ have that option, I _don't_ have it selected).

It's frustrating trying to play a game when the sound will go out at random intervals, and doubly so when one is trying to stream… so if I can't figure out how to fix this, I can at least attempt to gut the new controller and use its good parts to fix the original.
