PSALM 23 - BESIDE STILL WATERS

In green pastures, I find my rest,
Beside still waters, I’m truly blessed.
You restore my soul, guide my way,
With You, my Lord, I won’t go astray.

For You are my Shepherd, I shall not want,
In the valley’s shadow, I shan't daunt.
With rod and staff, You comfort me,
In Your love, I'm forever free.

You prepare a table, in my foes' sight,
Anointing my head, making burdens light.
My cup overflows, with blessings you send,
With You, my Savior, on whom I depend.

Though trials come, and storms may rise,
In Your embrace, fear’s demise.
Goodness and mercy, my life they’ll chase,
Dwelling with You, I find my place.

For You are my Shepherd, leading the way,
In the darkest night, or the brightest day.
No evil I fear, for You are near,
Your love's melody, the song I hear.

Valleys may deepen, waters may roar,
But with You as my guide, I soar.
Through life’s journey, with its twist and bend,
With You, my Shepherd, on whom I depend.

Forever and always, in Your house I’ll stay,
For in Your love, I find the way.
With heart full of gratitude, to You, I plea,
Beside still waters, forever I'll be.
