PSALM 20 - FORTRESS OF FAITH

When the storms of life gather near,
May the Lord hear your call in distress.
Lifting you from the shadows of fear,
From His holy heaven, He’ll bless.

Some trust in chariots, some in horses,
But our hope is in the Lord’s great name.
Through valleys dark and mountain courses,
With God by our side, we’re not the same.

May He send help from His sacred place,
Strengthen you from the city so pure.
Your offerings, your prayers, He’ll embrace,
In His steadfast love, you’re secure.

In moments of doubt, when hope seems small,
Remember the victories He has done.
Rise with a shout, standing tall,
For in His name, battles are won.

Some trust in chariots, some in horses,
But our trust lies in the Lord’s embrace.
In every challenge that life courses,
With Him as our shield, we find grace.

We’ll rejoice in His name, day by day,
In His promises, our hearts delight.
Though the world may fade and decay,
With Him, our future is always bright.

May the Lord fulfill your desires deep,
Answer when you call, in His love, steep.
In the symphony of faith we keep,
God is our fortress, His promises, we reap.
