PSALM 16 - REFUGE IN THE DIVINE

Preserve me, O God, for I trust in You,
In Your embrace, the world feels new.
To the holy ones on this vast terrain,
In them, my joy remains.

You're my refuge, my guiding light,
In the darkest hour, my heart's delight.

The sorrows multiply, when others I chase,
But in Your counsel, I find grace.
You're my portion, my cup that fills,
With You, my heart thrills.

Night speaks wisdom, day shows the way,
With You beside, I'll never stray.

For You won’t abandon, my soul to the grave,
In Your righteousness, I'm brave.
The path of life, in Your presence shown,
With joy and pleasures, I've known.

You're my refuge, my beacon so bright,
Guiding me gently, through day and night.

Boundless love, forever divine,
In Your shelter, I'm eternally thine.
