PSALM 8 - ETERNAL GAZE

Gazing at the heavens, stars shimmering so bright,
Your fingers painted galaxies, bathed in soft moonlight.
The expanse of all You’ve made, beyond what eyes can see,
Yet in this vast universe, You still think of me.

Oh Lord, how majestic is Your name,
In all of the earth, Your wonders proclaim.
From the mouth of babes, praises rise,
To You, Creator of the skies.

When I think of humankind, in Your image we’re made,
With love and care, Your hands have carefully laid.
The birds in the sky, the fish in the sea,
Everything under the sun, You’ve given unto me.

The mountains echo, the oceans cry out,
The beauty of creation, it’s what life’s all about.
From the highest of highs to the depths down below,
Your love, oh Lord, is what makes everything glow.

Oh Lord, how majestic is Your name,

Silence of the night, whispers of the dawn,
Every breath, every moment, it’s to You I’m drawn.
The crown of creation, humanity stands tall,
Yet, You are the center, the One who holds all.

So here in this moment, with wonder I see,
In the vastness of all, You still think of me.
Oh Lord, in Your glory, forever we'll be,
Singing praises and thanks, to the One, Eternally.
