PSALM 7 - COURTROOM OF FAITH

Lord, in You I take refuge, never stray, In this world of illusion, You're my way, Enemies lurk, they seek and they prey, But with You by my side, I stand tall, come what may. Every step, every breath, I feel the pressure, But I remember Your words, they're my treasure, Evil's intent, trying to measure, But Your light guides me through, beyond measure. End the wickedness, see the righteous shine, Guide my heart, O Lord, align my line, You're the judge, Your verdict so divine, In the courtroom of life, justice is Thine. God's a righteous judge, feels the anger daily, Yet, His mercy and love, come through, no maybe, Evil can't stand, collapses so frailly, Cause with God as my shield, I march on bravely. Praises on my lips, every dawn, every eve, For the blessings, grace, all that I receive, In the highest highs, lowest lows, I believe, In the symphony of faith, God conducts, I perceive. End the vice, bring virtue to light, With You, O Lord, I fight the good fight, The wicked may plot, in the depth of the night, But with faith as my armor, I'm ready, so tight. End the wickedness, see the righteous shine, Guide my heart, O Lord, align my line, You're the judge, Your verdict so divine, In the courtroom of life, justice is Thine. I'll give thanks to the Lord, sing His praises, elevate, For His unfailing love, never early, never late, In this holy scripture, I resonate, With every verse, every line, I dedicate.
