Who was the sinner: Adam or Eve?

Even though Adam and Eve both sinned against God and were expelled from the Garden of Eden, Eve was blamed more by St. Paul, because she was "deceived" and "in the transgression". This is despite the fact that the serpent caused both of them to sin.
