Driver, child hospitalized in Walnut Hills crash

Cincinnati police are investigating a serious traffic crash involving a young boy. A driver crashed head-on into a tree at Lincoln Avenue and Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, in Walnut Hills, at about 9:30 a.m. Tuesday. No other vehicles were involved. Both the driver and 6-year-old passenger were seriously injured, Lt. Brian Norris said. The driver, a man, was taken to University of Cincinnati Medical Center. The boy was taken to Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center.
