On the third day, as the sun began its descent, I found myself standing on the summit, utterly transfixed by the ethereal beauty that unfolded before me. The fading light painted the heavens with hues of pink and orange, while a tapestry of stars timidly emerged in the vast canvas of the sky. In that fleeting moment, with the crisp mountain air kissing my skin and the gentle whisper of the wind in my ears, I felt an inexplicable connection with the universe. It was as though time itself had slowed, allowing me to embrace the profound serenity of the natural world and recognize my place within it. The mountains stood as ancient sentinels, and I, a mere visitor, felt humbled by their grandeur. This was a moment of profound introspection, a communion with the universe that transcended words and left an indelible mark on my soul, reminding me of the boundless wonder that exists beyond our everyday lives.

With Blooms Such as These

What gardener’s majestic pride
Planted seeds on this mountainside?
Whose transcendental essence frees
Me to gardens galaxies wide!

In buttercups up to my knees,
I stopped to watch the honey bees,
Drinking deeply of sweet delight,
As I drank in the honeyed breeze.

Standing on a heavenly height,
I witnessed an immortal sight.
I walked in the midst of fire.
I felt a great gardener’s might.

In faith I will live and expire,
With blooms such as these to inspire.
And I will blossom with desire,
To grow ever higher and higher.
