Etara is an open-air museum and a neighbourhood of Gabrovo in Central Northern Bulgaria, that illustrates the Bulgarian customs, culture and craftsmanship.

It was built 50 years ago and contains over 50 objects, including houses, workshops and water installations.

You can see the architecture, way of life and economy of Gabrovo and the region during the Bulgarian National Revival period.

You can also watch the craftsmen demonstrate their skills and products using original instruments and techniques.
