The Striper Blues Journal - Video Log 207 - The Doodley Bird!

Sports Fans!

My family has a strange obsession with birds.....and we have a TON of bird life here. There's a unique combination of shelter, food and of course the stream that flows all year long that seems to attract a really interesting variety of these puckish rapscallions!

FinnWood Gardens has many sights and sounds. This but little rascal occupies a very special place in our hearts. This Carolina Wren, even though he's a very small fellow, has a VERY strong voice. We landed on the name "The Doodley Bird". I think it was my daughter that named him.

He's getting ready to head south sometime soon. He'll be back in the spring to serenade us when the grass starts to green and the Peepers sing for us in the evening.

Love this guy.

Anyhow, we'll see you on the water soon, love you all and I mean it!
