"SA Sets Record Target, Defeats AUS in 4th ODI"
11
In the 4th ODI between Australia (AUS) and South Africa (SA), SA batted first and set a formidable target of 417 runs. This incredible total was primarily achieved thanks to destructive batting performances by Heinrich Klaasen, who scored a remarkable 174 runs off just 84 balls, and David Miller, who contributed 85 runs off 45 balls.
However, Australia's chase fell short as they managed to score only 252 runs, resulting in a victory for South Africa. Notably, SA displayed tremendous batting prowess in the last 18 overs of their innings, adding 260 runs to their total. This victory was a testament to South Africa's batting strength and their ability to set and defend a challenging target.
