Neymar's debut for Al-Hilal features a rout and participation in four goals; find out how it was.
Exactly one month after being announced, Neymar made his debut for Al-Hilal, from Saudi Arabia, this Friday (15), in the Riyadh derby against Al-Riyadh, with a 6-1 victory.
Back after a busy FIFA Date, the Brazilian started on the bench of the team led by Portuguese Jorge Jesus. When Neymar came on, 19 minutes into the second half, replacing compatriot Michael, the score was already 2-0.
Even so, the striker had a direct participation in the construction of the rout, being involved in the four goals scored by Al-Hilal since he stepped onto the field of play.
With his first touch of the ball, in the 23rd minute of the final stage, Neymar made a magical pass to Malcom, who was in front of the goal, but ended up colliding with Uruguayan goalkeeper Campaña. In the remainder, Al-Dawsari scored into the net.
After getting involved in two arguments with Al-Riyadh players, Neymar took a free kick against the wall, in the 33rd minute. Five minutes later, he made a good individual play and provided an assist for Malcom, who finished and made it 4-0.
In the 41st minute, Neymar showed signs that he will respect the hierarchy at the new club. He conceded a penalty, but let Saudi Arabian Al-Dawsari, who has been at Al-Hilal for six years, take the penalty — and convert.
