“The NeverEnding Story”
Is there a person alive today who truly believes that President Biden would be subjected to an impeachment inquiry if former president Trump hadn’t had to endure two of his own? Even the most ardent supporter of this inquiry will likely admit that, at its core, it’s about revenge, as we’ll see on today’s show. So what have we accomplished, really, by leveraging impeachment as a weapon against our political opponents? And what examples from history might inform us as to the coming end result? Today on Something’s Happening Here, we see why Vengeance must belong only to the Lord, and in the process hopefully come to better understand some troubling passages in Scripture about the justice and vengeance of God. I hope the title of today’s show, “The NeverEnding Story,” will not end up applying to endless impeachments of every president from now until Jesus comes … but we’ll all have to find out together.
