Let's talk about what's going on around town. After hundreds showed up to a Jackson city council meeting in February to discuss a non-discrimination ordinance, the city is building of the momentum of putting that order into place. On Saturday the cities pride center will hold the inaugural Jackson Pride Festival. Things will get going at noon with a parade, their will also be live music, food vendors, drag kings and queens and a beer tent. Everyone is welcome to attend. The festival runs until 9 p.m. If you have an event you would like to share, please send us an email at aroundtown@fox47news.com
